You've heard of "slow food," well this is "slow video."

The film is an invitation to spend time with Jeff James, a third generation logger in Middle Tennessee who works with mules in a skillful, environmentally sensitive way.

I was introduced to Jeff by my aunt, Martha Nelle McClearen King, when he was logging on property in Hickman County, TN that has been in our extended family since the mid-1800's. The film's location is Lewis County, TN about 75 miles south and west of Nashville.

I hope that the cadence of mule and man will leave you feeling refreshed and inspired.

Joe Seamans did a wonderful job in every way possible, most obviously in recording both audio and video.
